Behind the breath-taking long name of the German luxury brand is the special model made on the basis of the Axopar 37, commissioned by a Finnish boat manufacturer in Poland. The collaboration between Axopar and Brabus began with the Brabus Shadow 800 launched last year. It was a luxury version of the first generation Axopar 37, also launched as the Black Ops special model. In practice, the Brabus version was born with more powerful engines and better equipment than the Axopar. The special model requires a combination of the Brabus trademark with a dark gray special color and red décor.
Last year it was the second generation Axopar 28 "Brabustelu" for the Shadow 500. This year, Axopar introduced the new 37 - and the Brabus Shadow 900. In the case of Brabus, the model designation numbers do not refer to the size of the boat but to the power of the engine. So the Shadow 900 has 900 horsepower. They produce two new Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines that whip Brabus to over 60 knots.

Saksalaisen luksusbrändin sisältävän hengästyttävän pitkän nimen takaa löytyy suomalaisen venevalmistajan Puolassa teettämän Axopar 37:n pohjalle tehdyn erikoismallin erikoismalli. Axoparin ja Brabuksen välinen yhteistyö alkoi toissa vuonna lanseeratulla Brabus Shadow 800:lla. Se oli ensimmäisen sukupolven Axopar 37:n luksusversio, joka lanseerattiin niin ikään Black Ops -erikoismallina. Käytännössä Brabus-versioi syntyi tavallista Axoparia tehokkaammilla moottoreilla ja paremmalla varustelulla. Erikoismallin erikoismalliin tarvitaan Brabuksen tavaramerkkiyhdistelmä tumman harmaata erikoisväriä ja punaista sisustusta.
Viime vuonna vuorossa oli toisen sukupolven Axopar 28:n ”Brabustelu” Shadow 500:ksi. Tälle vuodelle Axopar esitteli uuden 37:n – ja Brabus Shadow 900:n. Brabuksen tapauksessa mallimerkinnän numerot eivät viittaa veneen kokoon vaan moottorin tehoon. Shadow 900:ssa on siis 900 hevosvoimaa. Ne tuottaa kaksi Mercury Racingin uutta 450R -perämoottoria, jotka piiskaavat Brabuksen yli 60 solmun huippunopeuteen. Rungolle ei ole tehty mitään, vaan se on ominaisuuksiltaan identtinen Axopar 37:n kanssa.
